A thread is not one video, and a post can carry four. Most downloaders take the first and call it done. Paste the thread and get the set, numbered in the order it was posted.
Threads, multi-video posts and quote chains
X allows up to four media items on a single post, and a thread multiplies that across every reply the author added. Handing a downloader the thread URL usually returns exactly one file, because it reads the linked post and stops. XDL walks the author's own reply chain and collects each media item it finds.
Quoted posts are followed one level deep — enough to catch the clip someone is reacting to, without dragging in an unrelated conversation. Other people's replies are skipped: a thread means the author's own chain, not the whole comment section.

- Does it grab replies from other people?
- No. Only the author's own chain, plus one level of quoted posts. Other replies are a different conversation.
- What if a post has four videos?
- You get all four, numbered within that post's position in the thread.
- Can I start from the middle of a thread?
- Yes. XDL walks forward from whichever post you linked.
