What happens next
- You get a case number. For legal notices a receipt also lands in your inbox.
- Safety reports take effect on our archive straight away — the clip drops out of every feed while a person reviews it. Legal notices are never actioned automatically: an unverified claim should not be able to delete anything.
- We reply with the decision. If material was removed in error, you can send a counter-notice.
XDL doesn't host video. Files go straight to the person who grabbed them and we keep metadata references, so what we can act on is our own catalog and the pages built from it.
