Archive X videos before they vanish

The internet’s memory for a viral X clip is measured in hours. Creators delete. Labels strike. Accounts lock. If a moment matters — research, receipts, your own work, a cultural flash — the only reliable archive is a file on your side.

Why X clips disappear

• The author deletes the post or the media.
• The account is suspended or goes private.

Ethics still apply when speed is the point

Archiving is not a free pass. Prefer content you have rights to keep. Do not weaponize private material. XDL blocks DRM and expects you to stay on the right side of creators and the law — especially when the clip is sensitive.
