UPDATE: The bill setting five-year terms for barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan officials is now with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for his signature, Senate President Win Gatchalian said. If signed into law, the scheduled November 2026 BSKE will be postponed to 2028,
