this guy literally explained the truth about the "ADHD superpower"

your brain filters your reality based on your expectations. so if you expect rejection, your brain will notice every sign of it. therefore if you change your perception, you change your reality.

he literally explained that people with ADHD notice everything.

your brain believes the story you keep repeating. tell yourself "i can't" long enough and it starts wiring that as truth. tell yourself "i can" instead. repeat it enough and the pattern changes. repetition strengthens neural pathways. what you repeat, your brain gets better

this guy has brilliantly explained ADHD: high-order cognition working at full throttle, but totally immobilized due to the neurological baggage of one commitment pending.

"the single greatest weapon we have is the ability to choose one thought over another." cognitive scientist brendan conway-smith breaks down metacognition beyond a simple buzzword, explaining how the mind transitions from directing external objects to monitoring and controlling

metacognition explained in 1 minute:

neuroscientists say your brain does not verify truth or lies. it responds to repetition. when you repeat a thought, your brain strengthens the neural pathway linked to it. over time, that pathway becomes automatic. this process is called neuroplasticity.
