A Chicago synagogue on Lake Shore Drive served as a round-the-clock meeting place for members of the self-described “Jew Crew” and Israeli officials.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Alan Krammer, in particular, spent hours meeting with Israeli officials there.
