Truly bizarre experience twitching a Great Bittern (Botaurus stellaris) feeding on the edge of the woodland whilst visiting Sheffield General Cemetery this morning. Has anyone seen them hunting in similar habitat? Left it ‘showing well’ at 1130 hrs. SK34248600 #UKBirding
