Introducing NEO’s 25 Degrees of Freedom, tendon-driven hands — nearing or surpassing human-level dexterity, strength, speed, and reliability. For seventy years, robotics worked around the hand problem. The humanoid bet is the reverse: it lives or dies at the fingertips.

This could be one of the most interesting robotic hands we’ve seen 1X’s NeoHand could change the way we think about robot dexterity It has 25 degrees of freedom and tendon-driven actuators. It can build LEGO, operate a game controller, and even unscrew a light bulb The key

Is this the most dexterous and capable robot hand? 🪬 Today @1x_tech comes with a banger. They announced their new hand, 25 degrees of freedom (22 in the fingers and palm, 3 in the wrist). The hands can do what humans do. LEGO assembly. Picking up individual screws from a

Today, we launched the world’s first automated production line for advanced general‑purpose humanoid robots, using robots to mass‑produce robots, autonomously. This was uncharted territory, and we solved it from scratch. The commissioning of our production line means humanoid

Incredible piece of engineering. Boston Dynamics has optimized for simulatability and ease of manufacturing over exact human-likeness. New four-finger hand unlock a huge range of dexterous behavior. Now it's AI's turn to explore the hardware limits.

Introducing Core, The Personal Al Computer The most powerful technology humanity has built should belong to you Order today:

Robot hands are starting to cross an important line. @Xynovaofficial_ Flex 2 has 23 DoF, tactile sensing, wrist vision and combines tendon drive with direct drive. But the more interesting progress to me is manufacturing. Xynova is not just assembling a hand from off the shelf

@Konstantin Saifoulline

A new feature from Boston Dynamics: new hands for Atlas. This is how it works: 13 degrees of freedom and no pinky — engineers taped their own fingers for a day to test it. Full story in the video. #AIStartup #AIAgents #BostonDynamics #Growth
