Wow. This ball appeared to have a chance to be a go-ahead, 2-run homer for the Padres. But it hit the roof, and was caught for an out.

This is absolute MADNESS in the 9th Ty France hit a MOONSHOT that was going to be a Homerun. But it hit the roof and wound up caught by Jackson Chourio. The ground rules say this is an out. One of the unluckiest plays ever for the San Diego Padres

Ty France hits a ball so high it hits the Brewers roof and is called an out. It would have been a two run homer and a 4-3 Padres lead with no roof. This is absolute garbage baseball.

Instead of a potential Go-Ahead Home Run in the 9th, Ty France’s ball hit the roof and was caught for out number 2

@Barstool Sports

What we are seeing in Milwaukee is exactly why roofs should be open! Unlucky play for SD. #MLB #NLDS #Padres #Brewers

William Contreras gives the Brewers the lead with a solo homer #padres gonna have to come back to win now

@Padres Central

A WILD 9th inning in Milwaukee Ty France hit a ball off the roof and it landed in Jackson Chourio's glove for the out 😮

Ty France is robbed of a potential go-ahead homer as the ball hits the roof and drops back into play 🤯
