Microsoft’s new Laptop Ultra has a world’s first magnetic USB-C charging port.

Here’s a closer look at Microsoft’s Magnetic Connect. They say it’s the world’s first built-in magnetic USB-C charging system on a laptop. What’s nice is the port still works like regular USB-C, so you can use it for charging, data and accessories.

One of my favorite touches on the Surface Ultra is the magnetic charger. If you forget it, the port turns into a regular USB-C charging port. Exactly how it should be.

Giving the people what they want. Yes, the new @Microsoft Surface Ultra laptop charger can be tugged out.

Microsoft just recreated MagSafe.. but forgot the “Safe” part Pull it at any angle other than 90 degree and the cable brings the whole laptop with it Literally defeats the whole purpose
