This is the most beautiful church in Iran and it wasn’t even built by Persians, but by Armenians who were forcibly relocated from their homes by Shah Abbas I during his scorched-earth campaign against the Ottomans in 1604 Vank Cathedral in Isfahan, built between 1606-1655
