Category 5 Hurricane Polo has achieved a new peak intensity of 165 MPH and 920 MBAR. He is now forecast by the NHC to reach further sustained winds of 180 MPH, with gusts up to 220 MPH. Polo may be on the verge of becoming one of the strongest Pacific Hurricanes of all-time.
