Category 3 Hurricane Isaias is making its final approach to the Florida Panhandle, with lightning near its eye and severe storms in the Big Bend. It will make landfall almost exactly two years to the hour after Hurricane Milton struck near Sarasota at 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 9, 2024.
